Export

Click "Tools", "Repository" and "Export Repository".

Select the destination folder: C:\pentaho_export_directory
Give a file name and an extension: pentaho_penrep_name_YYYYMMDD_HHMI.xml

Import

Disconnect from the repository.

Create a new schema to import the xml file.

Establish a new connection. Click "Tools", "Repository" and "Connect".

Create a new database repository.

Select "Tools", "Repository" and "Import Repository"

No

OK

The import is finished. Click "Close".

Explore the repository: Select "Tools", "Repository" and "Explore".

Review the objects.
